Ikea Sjoss 45W vs Belkin 65W? Let's put aside power and price. Ikea is good as it maintains 20V on both ports under load, while Belkin total power is higher. Ikea seems to be much more efficient at idle. Which would you choose power quality / efficiency wise? Thanks for another interesting video! :)

Just discovered your channel. Great videos. Thanks! Forgive my potentially dumb question. I am looking to buys an ASUS G14 from 2022. It comes with a 240W power brick. It allows for 100W USB-C PD and I am now looking for a "travel" power option. Hence me looking at this review. My question is, what nominal watts do I need to be maxing my PD port? will a 100W do? guess not. 165W? higher? Thanks!

+1 for the Essager! $ 7 on sale, also branded as Toocki. It provided unique SCP 22.5W for my Huawei Y91, 9V @ 2.5A. I think the lower the voltage and the closer to the nominal 3.7V, the healthy it is for the battery (less heat, less voltage conversion), more efficient and healthy.

@@AllThingsOnePlace Thanks! I am slightly confused on the PQS rating. Highest PQS out of these is for Minix (82) which seems to have higher THD / ripple and seems less efficient, especially at idle, than Ikea 45W which is rated at 75 PQS. For general use Ikea seems superior despite lower PQS? Hi, I saw your review of the SlimQ 240 watt. Based on what I see here with the Framework 180 watt, it seems to be better, for one thing, for having all the safety certifications, I am guessing. I actually bought the SlimQ-240, and it has not given me any problems for like 2 years or more. My laptop have these specifications of 19.5 volts and 9.23 Amps, which is basically 180 watts. But one odd thing with the SlimQ-240 when I first tried to power my laptop was that it did get hot. That maybe happened 2 to 3 times right at the beginning. BUT from then on, it has remained very stable, temperature wise. I got the SlimQ right when it got released, I believe. BUT what I like about the Framework 180 watt, is that dimension wise, it is a bit smaller than the SlimQ-240, also weighs a bit less. The only thing lacking for this Framework 180 watts is a DC barrel. BUT I found online that there is a Type-C to DC barrel adapter. SO, I am planning on getting this Framework 180, because it has more safety certifications and is a bit smaller in size and weight as the SlimQ-240.

    • @AllThingsOnePlace

Yeah, it's pretty hard to find things not made in China. The Belkin video has three made in Vietnam chargers. The USA doesn't really have any excuses not to make stuff like this except they politically eliminate any viability of manufacturing. This charger made in USA with AVX caps, Wolfspeed and TI chips... it'd be so expensive.
